What is the Range of an Electric Jeep?

Both the Wrangler 4xe and Grand Cherokee 4xe offer exceptional ranges on both fully electric and hybrid drive modes. Drivers of the hybrid-electric Wrangler 4xe can typically expect an all-electric range of up to 35km on a single charge, perfect for daily city commuting and short distance driving. The Wrangler has a total hybrid range of up to 592km, for longer distances. The Grand Cherokee 4xe offers similar ranges, with up to 40km of electric range, and an estimated hybrid range of around 756km.

Is an Electric Jeep Good for Winter Driving?

The Jeep 4xe lineup has the capability and flexibility to perform in all weather conditions, including the cold winters we experience here in Orillia and across Ontario. While with any electric vehicle, all-electric range is reduced in colder temperatures to varying degrees, however this issue is alleviated thanks to the inclusion of the 2.0L DOHC Turbo engine, which helps protect your battery from cold weather strain. Jeep’s batteries are also protected by a waterproof casing, which eliminates the risk from melting snow and ice inside the body of the vehicle.
